January: Econocom increases its expertise in the cloud and virtualisation market  by acquiring a 40% stake in Belgian company Centix.

February: Daniel Botella, Marketing Director for Econocom Group, talks about the importance of the Group’s membership of IPSO Alliance .

April: Econocom launches the new version of its corporate website.

May: With the tagline Technology made easy,  Econocom launches its very first advertising campaign in France.

June: Econocom acquires Tactem and enhances its expertise in telecoms management for major international companies.

August: The group supplies its sales forces across Europe with over 350 iPads.

October: Econocom signs a partnership with a research institute in Italy for an R & D programme for smart solutions.

– Econocom releases a video tour of the multimedia, mobile, digital and medical solutions at its Digital Centre in Paris.

– After signing an agreement in June, Econocom finalises the acquisition of Cap Synergyin order to develop its new IT security skills.

– Econocom acquires 100% of the share capital of Spain’s leading virtualisation provider.

Ermestel also operates in the Mexican market.

November: Econocom launches viSPACE, a multi-device workspace virtualisation solution for workers on the move.

– Econocom announces it has signed an agreement to acquire France Systemes, France’s n° 1 Apple reseller. The deal was finalised at the end of December.
