Security: web giants join forces against Spam and Phishing

To combat email abuses, Google, Microsoft, Yahoo and 13 other major email service providers have set up a working group. Safer authentication 16 international companies including AOL, Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft, PayPal and Yahoo are pooling their expertise to identify technologies to prevent spamming and phishing. Called Dmarc (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting and Conformance), the aim of this group of organisations is to develop standards to improve data security.
