Econocom is also currently working on giving users access, via the group intranet, to the CRM tool and the company’s sales forecast application, to ensure optimal decision-making.
Following the launch in October 2011 of Everpad by econocom, an end-to-end, B2B ICT service for integrating and managing media tablets, the purpose of deploying these iPads to Econocom Group’s own staff is “To help us promote our most innovative mobile ICT solutions and service offerings,” explains Daniel Botella, Group Marketing Director at Econocom.
Everpad by econocom has been extremely successful, with the group so far carrying out a number of large-scale deployments of over a thousand iPads each.
Gregory Elmoznino, Managing Director of Econocom Telecom Services, says: “The ability to access and manage business remotely, any time, anywhere, isn’t exactly revolutionary, but it does reflect a major shift in patterns of use in enterprises. Our clients who have implemented large-scale tablet deployments are proof of this. They also appreciate the ecologically responsible rationale of such projects.”
